Last week, I shared some material from The State of America's Children 2014, a report published by the Children's Defense Fund, which cites the neglect of children as the top national security threat.
This statement sends shivers: "The U.S. is the only country in the world besides Somalia - which lacks a legally constituted government - that has failed to ratify the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child."
