Frances C. Lepouttre

Frances C. Lepouttre, 90, formerly of Tiffin, died at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at Kindred Hospital, Cleveland.

Frances was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Seneca County, to Gilbert and Ella F. (Barton) Rice. She married Albert Lepouttre Oct. 12, 1946, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Republic, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

Survivors include a son, Thomas (Cindy) Lepouttre of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Ethan Lepouttre and Kyle Parrigan; a sister-in-law, Lucille Rice of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Carl and Robert Rice; and a sister, Evelyn Lee.

Frances was a Tiffin Columbian graduate, a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-3113, with a wake service beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Prayers will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at the funeral home, followed by her funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, officiated by the Rev. Gary Walters. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or to Habitat for Humanity in care of the funeral home.
