Pauline "Polly" Pettigrove, 87, of Fostoria, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at her home.
She was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Fostoria, to George W. and Margaret (Hess) Clark. She married Elmer Harmon Jan. 24, 1944, in Fostoria, and he preceded her in death in October 1978. She then married Clarence Pettigrove and he too preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Nicholas Jay (Barbara) Harmon of Monroe, Ga., Jerry D. Harmon of Fostoria and Kirk D. (Kim) Harmon of Akron; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred May Lovric of Fremont.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Douglas Clark Harmon; two brothers, Paul and Carl Clark; two sisters, Maxine Hall and Donna Schmiditz; a great-grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria.
Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nick Harmon presiding. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
