Kathleen S. Beamer-Stone, 75, of Tiffin, died at 1:24 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
Katie was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Tiffin, to Ralph and Madeline (Monaco) Fraley. She married Morris Stone in Attica and he preceded her in death July 10, 1987.
Survivors include her two sons, Brett (Jeni) Beamer of Bloomville, Matthew (Ashley Messersmith) Stone of Tiffin; two stepdaughters, Patti (Mark) Davis of Tiffin, Michelle (Joe) Sledge of Burlington, N.C.; thirteen grandchildren, Wyatt E. and Jesse M. Beamer, both of Bloomville, Katelyn R., Kelcie L., Karter W. Stone, and Jayce M. Arias, all of Tiffin, Darian A. Garibaldo of Monclova, Skyler L. Novesta of Fostoria, Marissa Davis of Columbus, Ben Davis of Tiffin, Branden Ardelean of Tiffin, Brett Matthew Ardelean of Tiffin, Callie Sledge of Burlington, N.C.; four brothers, Ralph F. (Nancy) Fraley of Adrian, Mich., Bill (Nikki) Fraley of Toledo, Dave (Bev) Fraley of Hudson, Fla., Richard T. (Kathy) Fraley of Tiffin; four sisters, Rosemary (George) Houck of Tiffin, Sandy (John) Pitts of Tiffin, Diane (Dennis) Baker of Tiffin, Emma Jean (Doug) Chester of Benton.
Katie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris; and a stepdaughter, Pamela Ardelean.
Katie was the owner and operator of Katie's Bel-Mar Boat Landing for 40 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She was always there to lend a helping hand to all she ever came into contact with. Katie always donated to all who asked and even those who never asked.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will follow the services, at Bethel cemetery in McCutchenville.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
