Tim Golling, 61, of rural Sycamore, died at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at his home.
He was born Dec. 17, 1952, in Upper Sandusky, to Charles Ned and Betty Mae (Moler) Golling. He married Anna M. (Beekman) Golling June 21, 2003, and she survives.
Also surviving are seven children, Travis (Lacey) Golling of Temecula, Calif., Stephanie (Yancy) Shaw of rural Tiffin, Jeff (Nikki) Golling of Nevada, Mike (Kara) Stoops of Upper Sandusky, Jason Campbell of rural Upper Sandusky, Andrea (Luke) Dunn of rural Sycamore and Tiffany Campbell of rural Bucyrus; 13 grandchildren, Ryan Golling, Russell Golling, Wesley Shaw, Macie Shaw, Ellie Shaw, Emma Golling, Nicholas Golling, Vivian Golling, Jevin Stoops, Annika Campbell, Vincent Campbell, Keegan Dunn and Kennedi Dunn; one sister, Sue (Henry) Humer of Arlington, Texas; and a half brother, Ned Golling of San Francisco, Calif.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jan Crane, besides his parents.
Tim was a retired millwright working at Cooper Tire and Rubber, Findlay, for 33 years. He also was a member of the Sons of the Sycamore American Legion Post No. 250 where he was very active in all aspects of the organization.
For hobbies, Tim loved to hunt, camp, golf, raise a garden, do crossword puzzles, read and especially spend time with his family, which was very important to him.
A funeral for Tim will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Robin LaBolt officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
