Annabelle Mae Stuckey Sherman, 86, of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and formerly Fort Seneca, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at Scottsdale Healthcare in Arizona.
She was born Dec. 25, 1927, in Tiffin, the daughter of Lucas Charles Stuckey Sr. and Laura (Funk) Stuckey. She was married to Robert H. Hoffman. In October 1981, she married Myron "Mike" Sherman.
She was employed at General Electric and Tiffin Glass. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband, Mike. In 2004, she moved to Fountain Hills, Ariz.
Annabelle was a former member of Old Fort Women's Fire Auxiliary. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed camping, hiking, volunteering at church and visiting the western United States. Later in life, she relished her grandchildren and family, playing bingo and cards with friends, and living in Arizona.
Annabelle is survived by a brother, Russell Stuckey; a sister-in-law, Verna Stuckey of Fremont; a son, Robert C. Hoffman of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law, Cecilia E. Hoffman; and two grandchildren, Laura and Zachary Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike Sherman; and two brothers, Lucas and Robert Stuckey.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, (419) 447-1221.
Her funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Marc Quinter officiating. Burial will follow at Old Fort Cemetery.
