Non-credit health programs set
FREMONT - The Kern Center at Terra State Community College is to offer non-credit healthcare courses for the spring and summer.
STNA training begins with the first session May 14 through June 11.
Class times are 5-10 p.m. May 14, 15, 21, 22 and June 4, 5 and 11; 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. May 17, 30 and 31; and 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m. June 6 and 7.
The second session is to begin July 21.
Class times are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 21-30.
Cost for the course is $549, including the course packet.
Pharmacy Technician Training course is to be 6-9 p.m. June 2-Aug. 4.
Cost for the course is $899, including books and materials.

TU names chair of Humanities Dept.
Aaron Burton, assistant professor of communication at Tiffin University, has been named chair of the Humanities Department in the School of Arts and Sciences.
Burton is to begin his appointment in May. He replaces Miriam Fankhauser.
Local students named to honors society

Upper Sandusky native makes play cast
BEREA - Colin Bather of Upper Sandusky has been named part of the cast and crew of "The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie" at Baldwin Wallace University.
The production is to run April 9-13 in the William Alman Theater, Kleist Center for Arts & Drama, 95 E. Bagley Road, Berea.
