Kayla McGinnis, a Columbian High School student, portrayed Rosina Brown as a young woman during a dramatization Friday during the Tiffin Art Walk at Tiffin Historic Trust. Uwe Wernekinck, a teaching assistant at Heidelberg University, provided the voice of Paul, a young German who corresponded with Rosina from 1928-36. Wernekinck is a German native. Trust member Karin Brown narrated the event.
The next project for the trust is another series of Victorian Teas. The first is a Music Tea at 12:30 p.m. April 26 in the Grammes Brown House, 172 Jefferson St. It is to feature the flute and acoustic guitar duo of Mackenzie Honaker and Howard Cole of Heidelberg University. Tours of the Grammes-Brown House are to be included with the admission of $20. Seating is limited. For reservations, call (419) 447-0665.
