Big Shots assists F.A.C.T.
Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment would like to thank Big Shots Pub and Grub for making F.A.C.T. a beneficiary of its May 10 Poker Run. F.A.C.T. received $950 from this benefit.
We would also like to thank everyone who participated and all the volunteers who made this a successful event.
F.A.C.T. support is offered in a number of ways to those people living in Seneca County diagnosed with cancer. This includes transportation, medications, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, nutritional supplements and equipment for cancer-related needs. We would not be able to provide this assistance without fundraisers such as these.
Please support Big Shots Pub and Grub.
Nursing Home Week celebrated
What a great time May 12-16 we all had. Carol Yaney did a wonderful job planning something every day for Nursing Home Week.
12th - A bridal show, girls in different wedding dresses and bridesmaids and prom. Even a flower girl. We had cake, punch and chips.
13th - Residents had a family dinner with Carl Arnold playing violin and then a gourd craft show with Duane Scherly showing how to take gourds and make stuff.
14th - Rustic Evening with Ralph Kieffer playing, with snacks to eat.
15th - Brad playing instruments.
16th - Michael and his accordion.
The residents enjoyed everything, and so did I. Thank you, Carol Yaney, for everything you do to give our loved ones a nice place to call home.

Lady Warriors made her proud
Congratulations to the Mohawk softball team on winning the MAL 10-0. You girls did a fantastic job all year.
To the seniors, best of luck to you in the future.
To Coach Weinandy, you had a great career at Mohawk and will be missed very much. Averaging 20 games each season for 15 years and winning TWO state titles is fantastic. Good luck in your retirement.
