Olive F. Ruehle, 91, of Tiffin, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at Desert Lakes apartments, Phoenix, Arizona.
She was born April 11, 1923, in Sandusky, to Edward Windau and Florence E. (Collins) Windau. She married Gene E. Ruehle Sept. 4, 1943, and he preceded her in death March 2, 2014.
Survivors include two sons, Dick (Dianna) Ruehle of Tiffin and Jerry Ruehle of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Jacquelyn S. Repp of Anchorage, Alaska, and Patricia J. Bastani, formerly of South Africa, now living in Anchorage; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren;
Also preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, George Windau, Norm Windau and James Windau; and two sisters, Winnie Lease and Mary Esther Will.
Her Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian wake service will begin at 1:30 p.m.
