Use of Courthouse Square to be reviewed

July 15, 2014
The Advertiser-Tribune

Seneca County Board of Commissioners is to appoint members to a review board for the use of Courthouse Square, following a request from Seneca County Common Pleas Courts Judges Michael Kelbley and Steve Shuff. Commissioners agreed any organization already approved to use the space may continue to do so through existing contracts, but the judges have suggested a stay on any new applications during the proposed three-month review process. Commissioners formally are to appoint members to the board at their next meeting, which may include a judge, a commissioner, a representative of Seneca County Sheriff's Office and a member of the League of Women Voters.
