Helping fight hunger | Advertiser-Tribune Members of the Ohio National Guard unload food from a West Ohio Food Bank truck to be given away to people in need Thursday at First Lutheran Church, 300 Melmore St. Before the food distribution, FISH of Tiffin, a food bank partner, received a $5,000 donation from the White Family Trust through Tiffin Charitable Foundation. Local coordinator Catherine Gase said the local group receives donations from local businesses and has distributed masks from Helping Hands in Seneca County, and the other agencies provide information to people who might need additional services. Gase said 800-900 people are served in the two-hour distribution each month.
