Reineke Ford hosting fundraising event

FOSTORIA — Reineke Ford in Fostoria is hosting a Drive For Your Community Event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 27. The event will take place at the dealership located at 1303 Perrysburg Rd. For every valid test-drive in a new Ford vehicle, Ford Motor Company will contribute $30 to benefit the Fostoria Area Habitat for Humanity, with donations totaling up to $6,000. The initiative is part of Ford's Drive For Your Community program, which has raised millions of dollars nationwide to support schools, nonprofits, and local causes. Fostoria Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that works to build and improve homes for families in need of decent and affordable housing. Their mission is to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness from the world and make sure everyone has a decent place to live. The organization builds and renovates homes in Fostoria and its surrounding areas, working with local municipalities and homeowners to identify areas of need and provide housing solutions. Since its establishment in 1990, Fostoria Habitat for Humanity has built and renovated over 10 homes in Fostoria. They also work to revitalize neighborhoods and support communities through programs that promote home ownership and affordable housing. Participants in the event can get behind the wheel of some of Ford's most popular new models; from the Expedition and F-150 to the Maverick, all-electric Mustang Mach-E, and the Bronco and Bronco Sport. The test-drive event will take place at the Fostoria dealership where participants can enjoy the event and directly support an organization dedicated to nourishing and uplifting the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to make an impact while experiencing the latest Ford vehicles in a fun and welcoming way.
