2026 4th of July fireworks

Here is a list of the some of the greater region's community Fourth of July fireworks events and related celebrations that have been publicized thus far. Many of these family-friendly events are free unless otherwise noted. Check with each community or organization hosting this event for more details. Thursday, July 2 Willard • Willard's Stars, Stripes & Summer Nights celebration takes place from 6-10:30 p.m. at Willard City Park, 561 W. Laurel St. Festivities include food trucks, a parade at 7 p.m., live music at 8 p.m. and free swimming. Fireworks begin at 10:30 p.m. People can contact Willard's government for more information. Friday, July 3 Green Springs • The Green Springs Let Freedom Ring celebration takes place from 3 p.m. to dusk at village headquarters, 120 Cathrine St. Festivities include a parade; food trucks; raffles; live music; children's activities, like a rock wall, ball pit, obstacle course, bounce trampolines, inflatable slide, bounce house, train rides and face-painting; and kiddy tractor pulls. Fireworks begin at dusk. People can contact Green Springs' government for more information. Oak Harbor • The Oak Harbor Independence Day Celebration takes place from 4 p.m. until dusk on Mill Street. Festivities include a car show, dance performances, live music; food trucks; face-painting; kids activities and games; raffle baskets; a VFW presentation; and duck race. Fireworks over the Portage River begin at dusk. People can contact the Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce for more information. Saturday, July 4 Clyde • The Clyde 4th of July Celebration takes place from 1-11 p.m. at Clyde Community Park, 246 South St. Festivities include live music; inflatables for children; a touch-a-truck event; food trucks; a home run derby; many kids activities, like a sack race, tug-of-war, relay race and balloon toss; Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. People can contact the Clyde Recreation Department for more information. Fremont • Fremont's Fourth of July fireworks begin at dusk and will be visible from Rodger Young Memorial and Walsh parks. People can contact Fremont's government for more information. • The Independence Day Concert & America 250 celebration at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums site in Spiegel Grove takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Festivities include an old-fashioned picnic; a patriotic concert; games and activities for children; along wih speakers giving historic speeches; The museum will also be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lakeside-Marblehead • Lakeside Chautauqua's America 250-inspired Fourth of July celebration takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Festivities include a float parade; bike parade; decorating contest; a Firelands Symphony Orchestra concert from 6-8 p.m. at the nearby Marblehead Lighthouse; and a dance party. Fireworks occur from 9:45-10 p.m. People can contact Lakeside Chautauqua for more information. Entry does require a day pass. Norwalk • Norwalk's America 250 Fireworks Celebration takes place at dusk from the Huron County Fairgrounds, 940 Fair Road. The grandstands will not be open to the public, but the fairgrounds parking lot will be available for viewing. Port Clinton • Port Clinton's Red, White & Vroom Fourth of July Celebration takes place from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the downtown area. Festivities include a star-spangled squirt gun run/walk/5K; a firecracker cutie contest; food truck feast; classic car, truck and cycle show; ice cream social; community choir concert; and family dance party. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. at Waterworks Park/City Beach on Ohio 163. People can contact Port Clinton's government for more information. Put-in-Bay • Put-in-Bay's Boom at the Bay fireworks take place at 10 p.m. set against the backdrop of Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial on the Peace Garden Lawn. Other festivities throughout the day across the island include a vibrant classic car parade. People can contact the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau for more information. Sandusky • The Sandusky Community Celebration Council's annual Stars and Stripes Celebration takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Washington Park in downtown Sandusky. Festivities include the Boy with the Boot 5K live music, a children's bicycle parade, food trucks and more. People can contact the Sandusky Community Celebrations Council for more information. • Light up the Point, Cedar Point's fireworks show, begins at 10 p.m. Fireworks will illuminate the sky above Cedar Point Beach while synchronized music celebrates America's spirit and history. People can view the fireworks along downtown Sandusky's waterfront. • Kalahari's Kaboom! A one-of-a-Kind July 4th Celebration takes place from 7-10 p.m. There is a cost of $25 for visitors. Festivities include a live DJ, contests and treats. Fireworks cap off the event.
