8th Motors and Music Car Show set

TIFFIN — Reineke Family Dealerships is hosting the 8th Annual Motors and Music Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vehicle registration and check-in will begin at 8 a.m. The car show will be at a new location this year, now located at City Lot 4, at 25 E. Market St. in downtown Tiffin. Car enthusiasts are invited to display vehicles of all makes, models and years while enjoying live music and activities in support of the Seneca County Honor Bus. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Seneca County Honor Bus and its mission of honoring local veterans. Seneca County Honor Bus is a free program that takes military veterans from Seneca County on a three-day, two-night trip to Washington, D.C. at no cost to the veteran. The group coordinates group excursions funded entirely by local events like the Motors and Music Car Show to help former service members visit the nation's capital. The event will feature live music from The Dave & Glenn Duo throughout the show, along with raffles, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, T-shirts and multiple trophies. "We're excited to bring Motors and Music to City Lot 4 and continue celebrating great vehicles, live music and Downtown Tiffin while supporting our local veterans," said Dan Reineke in a press release. Pre-registration is $10, and the first 50 vehicles to pre-register will receive a free event T-Shirt. Day-of registration is $15. General admission is free to the public. The Seneca County Farmers Market will also take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on South Washington Street.
