Benefit for local resident to be hosted at Tiffin Eagles

A benefit fundraiser to assist with costs for a local resident with pancreatic cancer will be hosted at Tiffin Eagles 402, 68 Riverside Dr., March 21 from 3 p.m.-10 p.m. in the ballroom. Peggy (Adams) Gibson was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in August 2018 and requires immunotherapy treatments at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago each month, a statement from Gibson's sister Edie Adams reads. Reino's Pizza and Pasta is donating a meal at the benefit from 4:30-6 p.m. A donation for the meal is appreciated, Adams' release states, as all funds are to go directly to support Gibson's medical costs. Cash must be used for food donations, the release states. T-shirts, bracelets, coffee cups and party beads also will be for sale and attendees can pay with cash, a debit card or a credit card for those items, the release states. There will be a 50/50 drawing and raffles for various items donated by local businesses, including a photo shoot by Maria Wahl Photography; a dance class or free dance camp with In Motion Dance Studio; a necklace and tactical wallet donated from Jeffrey Jewelry; a product basket to include a pedicure from A Cut Above in Upper Sandusky; a Mary Kay basket, donated by Tosha Franklin; baskets of books from Beckie's Books with Usborne; a basket from Frisch's Big Boy in Upper Sandusky; a Fat Head's gift certificate; shirts from Steinmetz Signs and Graphic Ink; gift certificates from Molyet's Farm Market, Benchwarmers and Simply Susan; and various craft items donated by local artists.
