William T. Banks

William T. Banks, 66, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. William was born Sept. 4, 1953, in Fremont, to James Frederick Sr. and Norma Eugene (Noland) Banks. He married Mary Anne McCarthy Aug. 14, 1982, in Tiffin, and she survives in Tiffin. Survivors also include his three daughters, Shannon (Alex) Wagner of Delaware, Jenifer (Kristina Eyster) Banks of Delaware and Lindsey Banks of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Blaise Wagner, Elle Wagner, Maicie Wagner and Hunter Myers; two brothers, James Banks Jr. of Tiffin and Robert Banks of Tiffin; four sisters, Jan Banks of Tiffin, Patricia Banks of Tiffin, Carolyn (Craig Hewitt) Runion of Denver, Colorado and Margaret Gosche of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews. William enjoyed fishing, woodworking, all Cleveland sports teams and just spending time with his grandchildren. William was a 1973 graduate of Calvert High School, Tiffin. William was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Susan Banks-Rodriguez. There will be visitation for family and friends 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. There will be no funeral or burial at this time.
