Man charged with two counts of burglary

A Tiffin man was arrested after two people reported he entered Bobb Street residences Sunday. Jesse H. Murr, 37, was charged with two counts of burglary, both fourth-degree felonies, according to Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court records. One of the alleged victims told officers that Murr walked through his unlocked front door and went into the bathroom, according to court records. The occupant escorted Murr out of the house, and Murr then went to another Bobb Street house, they state. According to court records, the occupant of the second house said Murr entered the house through an unlocked rear door that leads to a mudroom, and when he was in the mudroom, Murr tried to enter the house through a locked door by pounding and kicking the door, they state. The occupant held Murr at gunpoint until police officers arrived, according to court records. Murr appeared via video before Judge Mark Repp of Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court on Monday. He told Repp he ran into a "bad circumstance" that evening, and he shouldn't have been involved in it. Repp set Murr's bond at $100,000, cash or surety.
