Jane Marie Butler

Jane Marie Butler, 79, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, after battling cancer. She was born Oct. 4, 1940, in Tiffin, to John and Laura Miller. She is survived by her husband, Gary Butler; four children, Amy Gregory, Judy Porter-Andereau, Gary (Karen) Butler and William Butler; eight grandchildren, Amber Cacace, Jeffrey Oyer, Dustin (Desiree) Porter, Holly Porter, Jessica Butler, Jacob Butler, Joshua Butler and Katelyn Butler; eight great-grandchildren, Giuseppe Cacace, Wyatt Smallwood, Roxy Oyer, Jay Oyer, Tristin Oyer, Carson Porter, Carley Porter and Serenity Butler; five sisters, Nancy (Paul) Rohrbach, Carol Pfieffer, Barbara Bauer, Patricia McDonald, Susan (Bill) Gibson; one brother, David (Cindy) Miller; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog, Lucy. Jane was preceded in death by her parents. She spent her time with family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, saying they kept her young. There was rarely a time at least one of them was not with her and she was teaching them something, whether it be in the kitchen or outside building and bringing to life one of her brilliant ideas. She will be greatly missed and carried on in our hearts forever.
