County Auditors' Association of Ohio new members

Adkins was installed as president of the County Auditors' Association of Ohio for 2020 at its winter conference, according to a news release. Other auditors installed were Vice President Andrea Weaver of Union County Second Vice President Michael Smith of Licking County, Third Vice President J. Craig Snodgrass of Lorain County and Secretary/Treasurer Debra Nye of Muskingum County. State Rep. Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) of the 88th district served as installation officer. CAAO includes all 88 Ohio county auditors and fiscal officers. It was established to promote and protect the interests of the taxpayers of Ohio and to improve the administration of county government, the news release said. Among other activities, the association works with the Ohio General Assembly to offer legislative initiatives that assist county auditors in carrying out their duties. In the news release, Adkins thanked the association for electing her as president and said it is an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful organization. She said she was looking forward to a productive and exciting year.
