Vote Rich Focht Vote Rich Focht to return a proven leader to Tiffin City Council. His vast experience in economic development has aided the city for decades. The spirit of cooperation between the city and the county as well as TSEP and Seneca Regional Planning is very strong. Rich Focht knows how important it is for all hands to be pulling the same direction. I look forward to keeping the momentum going with Rich in office for another term. Shayne Thomas Tiffin Democracy Is the Only Way I have been around for a long time and never seen the liberal party so disillusioned. With the lies and false information they are using to discredit our President. This is not the America I have known in my lifetime. There is so much hate it cannot end well. Instead of working with the Republicans they only want to be negative with everything that is proposed for the good of our country. There are so many things that need to be addressed yet have they tunnel vision and only want to get our President. They were elected to represent the American people but have done nothing. If the voters elect another Democrat to serve our country it would be a mistake. The liberals only want to control every aspect of your life. If the Democrats gain control of this country we are in for a downward spiral. They will pass new restrictive laws, raise taxes and reduce our personal freedoms. The life you have now will not exist anymore. The country will fall into disarray and become a shadow of what it once was. A Democratic government is the only form of government that will thrive and prosper. Government run business will never work. We need competition to promote incentive for better products and the will to produce for a better life. James A. Somers Tiffin Protect innocent animals I am writing on behalf of innocent animals who do not have a voice nor a choice in what happens to them. I volunteered at the Wyandot Humane Society when the 149 puppy mill dogs were brought in and it was one of the most horrific situations I have ever witnessed. The dogs were covered in urine and feces and their hair was so matted that they were in pain. Their feet were raw from standing on wire cages. Some had a half inch thick mat on their feet and did not want us to touch them because it was their protection from the wire. As we shaved them down and bathed them I put them in a kennel to dry and they couldn't handle being put back into a small cage. One dog was so upset that he thrashed around in the kennel and lost control of his bowels. I believe that anyone who witnessed the condition of these poor dogs would understand why the Albaugh's should never be allowed to own an animal of any sort ever again. The fact that they have been able to profit for many years off of the abuse of animals is a crime on all who allow it to continue. I hope you will take what I have stated into consideration. I believe as a society it is our duty to protect the defenseless. Rich has the depth of experience that is crucial in helping make decisions for the City. He has dedicated most of his career to the City and the County. Rich was CEO of the economic development corporation of Tiffin and the County for 25 years. He also was the City Manager under Mayor Dave Martien. Rich is a lifelong resident ofTiffin and that's important because he understands the history of city government and has been involved in virtually all decisions relating to the city over the last 8 years. He is committed to making decisions that are in the best interest of those folks who supported him. He has no other motivation than to serve those who entrust him to this office. Rich has been involved in several charitable and service organizations over the years and remains involved in many of those. His family is here, his home is here, and his heart is here. This visit was made possible by the Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation. We would also like to thank Tiffin University for use of the Marion Center for the author's presentation and their assistance in making the event run smoothly. Earlier in the day, the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties (MHRSB) hosted a Meet and Greet with Mr. Hines for area mental health providers and community partners. Mr. Hines also shared his story with students at Bridges Community Academy. Thank you to the faculty and staff for hosting this visit and to the students for their insightful questions. Tiffin-Seneca Public Library collaborated with several local organizations to offer additional programs and educate the community about mental health and the resources available in Seneca County.
