One-vehicle rollover accident sends three to Bellevue hospital

Three Columbus residents were transported to The Bellevue Hospital after a rollover accident on SR 4 near TR 124 Saturday afternoon. Anita Robinson, 53 was northbound on SR 4 in a 2006 Ford Explorer about 3:30 p.m. Saturday and attempted to pass another vehicle on the left side, Sergeant Kent Jeffries of the Fremont Post of State Highway Patrol said. To avoid oncoming traffic, Robinson veered off the left side of the road and struck a ditch, which caused the vehicle to overturn on its side, Jeffries said. \Robinson and two passengers, Jonte A. Robinson, 30, and Yvette Bryant, 51, all of Columbus, were transported to The Bellevue Hospital by Attica-Venice-Reed EMS District, Bloomville EMS and North Central EMS with minor injuries, Jeffries said. Two other passengers, Quillena R. Jackson, 43, and Diamond Bryant, 15, both of Columbus, were not transported, Jeffries said. All occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident except for Diamond Bryant, he said. Anita Robinson was cited with failure to control, he said.
