Seneca County's driver exam station permanently closed

Seneca County's driver exam station at 451 E. Market St., Tiffin, permanently is closed. The closure was effective Sunday, according to Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles' website. Seneca County's now-closed driver exam station had been open Tuesdays through Saturdays. Nearby driver exam stations are located at 1653 Marion Road, Bucyrus; 500 W. State St., Suite E, Fremont; 8210 CR 140, Suite C, Findlay; 142 Cleveland Road, Norwalk; and 1616 E. Wooster St., Bowling Green. According to the website, people needing a knowledge test for a commercial, class D, motorcycle or moped license or a skills test for a class D, motorcycle or moped should visit Athens, Ironton or Jackson exam stations. The deputy registrar license agency at 457 E. Market St., Tiffin, is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, according to the website. The clerk of courts title office at 103 E. Market St., Suite 102, Tiffin, is open 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
