Woman charged with assault

A Tiffin woman was charged after allegedly attempting to cause serious physical harm to Seneca County Sheriff's Office deputies Saturday, according to Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court records. Holly L. Fetzer, 46, was charged with three counts of felonious assault, second-degree felonies; three counts of assault on a peace officer, fourth-degree felonies; intoxication with a weapon, a first-degree misdemeanor; resist arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor; and persistent disorderly conduct, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, according to court records. Deputies had been sent to 5840 S. CR 19, which is Fetzer's residence, for a woman lying in the middle of the road. Fetzer made several comments about wanting to die and told Deputy Misty Wheeler to take her gun and shoot her in the head, court records state. Wheeler told Fetzer she would have to go with deputies to get evaluated for her comments, and Fetzer said she was not going with them and that they'd have to shoot her, they state. Fetzer allegedly climbed up her living room wall, grabbed a firearm that was mounted on the wall and continuously yelled, swore at and fought with deputies after being told several times to calm down, court records state. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.197, according to court records.
