Woman dies in car accident

FOSTORIA — A Bascom woman died in an accident on TR 59, just north of CR 18, Saturday afternoon. Kenadee M. Siebenaller, 18, was transported to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital where she was pronounced deceased, according to a release the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol. The release states Siebenaller was not wearing a seatbelt. According to the release, Dustin A. Humphrey, 37, from Fostoria, was traveling north on TR 59 in a 1994 Ford F-350 dump truck with Alexis Mathias, 9, of Alvada. Seiebenaller was traveling south on TR 59 in a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt. Siebenaller lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected, then drove left of center and struck the dump truck head-on, the release states. Mathias was transported to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital for precautionary reasons, the release states. Humphrey and Mathias were wearing seatbelts, the release states. The accident was reported at 3:01 p.m. and Bascom EMS, Bascom Joint Fire District, the Echo unit, Life Flight, State Highway Patrol, Seneca County Sheriff's Office, Reinhart Auto Body and D&D Total Repair responded to the scene.
