Margaret Marie (Bowe) Schriner

Margaret Marie (Bowe) Schriner, 89, residing in Norwalk, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, Dec. 16, 2017, at Norwalk Memorial Home with her daughters by her side after her third courageous battle with cancer. Margaret was born July 6, 1928, in Republic, to the late Melvin and Helen (Armstrong) Bowe. Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Olivia DeAnn (Jim) Campbell of Norwalk, Helen Rebecca (Gary) Schweer of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Debralee (King) Divers of Milan; seven grandchildren, D'Arcy (Doug) Elkins of Continental, Murt (Libby) Campbell of Norwalk, Jill Campbell of Norwalk, Amanda Schriner of Gypsum, Colorado, Robyn (Rey) Feuillebois of Ruskin, Florida, Kelsey Divers of Durham, North Carolina, and Kale (Emily) Divers of Vermilion; nine great-grandchildren, Dillon and Clara Elkins of Continental, Chase and Tessa Campbell of Norwalk, Steven Shaw of Parachute, Colorado, Halynn Premo of Clearwater, Florida, and Alex, Mia and Bella Feuillebois of Ruskin, Florida; and a sister, Lela (Tom Chaney) Bowe of Tiffin. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her three siblings, Rowena Mason, Regina Bogner and a sister in infancy, and her beloved cat, Salem. Margaret graduated from Scipio Republic High School. For many years, Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for Norwalk City Schools and the city of Norwalk, and later worked for West Baking and Fanny Farmer Candy Co. She also worked at Granutec in Largo, Florida. Margaret was a member of Norwalk First United Methodist Church and Huron County Democratic Women. Private family services will take place. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
