Raymond J. Zeiter

Raymond J. Zeiter, 81, of Findlay, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at Birchaven, Findlay. He was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Seneca County, to J.J. and Eugenia (Smith) Zeiter. Surviving are his four children, Brent (Jeannine) Zeiter of Findlay, Jay (Michelle) Zeiter of Attica, Roger (Beth) Zeiter of Columbus and Renee (Lewis) Baltzell of Chicago, Ilinois; eight grandchildren, Shawn (Ashley) Zeiter, Eric (Rebecca) Zeiter, Jacob, Ezekiel, Jory and Brant Zeiter, Whitney (Matt) Hunter, and Rachel (Alex) Densmore; brother, Wayne Zeiter of Lykens; sister, Mary Harpster of Bloomville; and beloved friend, Chris Hawkins. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Zeiter; two brothers, Glen and Roy Zeiter; and two sisters, Lesta Hall and Evelyn Harper. Raymond was a 1954 graduate of Bloomville High School. He attended Zion United Methodist Church, Findlay, retired in 2007 as a truck driver for ADS, Findlay, and prior to that he was a self-employed farmer. Raymond enjoyed the Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeyes basketball and John Deere tractors. He loved being with his family and watching his grandkids' sports. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Birchaven for the excellent care he received. At Raymond's request, there will be no services at this time.
