Marion L. Brookman

Marion L. Brookman, 79, of Fostoria, died Friday, July 14, 2017, at his home. He was born June 20, 1938, in Fostoria, to the late Ada and Elizabeth (Thomas) Brookman. He married Mary A. Tarris Aug. 11, 1978, in Fostoria, and she died Nov. 25, 2016. Mr. Brookman is survived by four daughters, Kelley Miller of Napoleon, Tammy Hernandez of Alvada, Tina Couch of Tiffin and Ale Brookman at home; two sons, Bradford Brookman and Rob (Cathy) Brookman of Fostoria; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma Watson of Fostoria. He was preceeded in death by a daughter, Theresa Burrows; two sisters, Florence Shumaker and Betty Crabill; and three brothers, Howard, Ernest and Robert Brookman. His funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Knigga officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 17, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria. Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church or to Bridge Hospice.
