Sharon O. 'Sherry' Grove

Sharon O. "Sherry" Grove, 77, of Upper Sandusky, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Upper Sandusky, to the late Gene and Bertha (Corbin) Slemmer. She married David J. Grove April 11, 1959, and he survives in Upper Sandusky. Also surviving are a daughter, Dana (Tony) Rife of Carey; a son, Michael (Cindi) Grove of Wharton; seven grandchildren, Jacob Grove, Stephanie Grove, Quinn Grove, Olivia Grove, Thomas Josserand, Sharon Josserand and Lucas Rife; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Steve Slemmer of Arizona; and adopted daughter, Shino McGrew of Powell. She was preceded in death by a son, Telo J. Grove. She was a 1957 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. Sherry was a member of First Baptist Church, Upper Sandusky. She was homemaker, she had worked at Westinghouse as a winder for motors and Spoon's Hardware, McCutchenville. She was a member of Rulitinet while living in North Carolina. She was a square dance caller, and she enjoyed flower gardening and helping with Samaritan Purse Shoe Box Ministry. Her funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Stumbo officiating. Interment will follow in Nevada Cemetery.
