Findlay, Ohio State grad joins veterinary clinic in Sycamore

SYCAMORE — Pets and pet owners who visit North Central Vet Services will see a new face around the office. Mallory Lynne Titler, of Grass Lake, Michigan, is the newest veterinarian at the office. Titler graduated from the University of Findlay in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in animal science. In 2014, she graduated from The Ohio State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. After graduation, Titler spent three years working as a mixed-animal veterinarian in central Pennsylvania. "I'm so excited to be bringing my skills and experience back to rural Ohio and I'm looking forward to creating new relationships with area producers, 4-H'ers and pet parents," she said in a statement. Titler said she grew up on a small beef and crop farm and spent years showing hogs and cattle at the county 4-H fair. She said her mom is a retired teacher and her dad still grows crops. Titler will be treating pets, but also has a pet of her own, an 80-pound dog named Tulsa who loves playing fetch. North Central Vet Services is at 125 N.
