William Perry Strausbaugh

William Perry Strausbaugh, 55, of Tiffin, died at 8:36 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born Dec. 14, 1961, in Tiffin, the son of Richard and Rosetta (Brickner) Strausbaugh. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Tiffin. He married Tina M. Weinandy Sept. 24, 1994, in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Frenchtown. She survives in Tiffin. Also surviving are their two children, Kelly A. Strausbaugh and Ryan W. Strausbaugh, both of Tiffin; two brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Strausbaugh of Republic and Rick Strausbaugh of Harpster; and a sister, Karen (Dave) Plott of Nevada. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Strausbaugh. He was a 1980 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and worked at Intermetro in Fostoria for more than 20 years. He was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel. William was a member of Moose Lodge No. 872 and New Riegel Right To Life. He loved politics and listening to AM radio stations. He was a member of the Northwest Ohio conservative coalition. William was very proud of his children's accomplishments, especially academically. At Bill's request, there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will begin 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at All Saints Parish-St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown, with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Frenchtown.
