Elmlinger-Kahle

Brittany Kay Elmlinger and Eric Rudolf Kahle exchanged wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, in an outdoor setting at the home of the groom's parents in Solon. The officiant was Susan Kahle. The double-ring service was out in a wooded lot, and a cocktail hour and reception immediately followed the ceremony in the backyard. The bride is the daughter of Mark and Berti Elmlinger of Attica. The groom is the son of Dolf and Marilyn Kahle of Solon. The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a modern vintage bridal gown featuring a simple sheath silhouette enhanced by all-over white lace. The strapless gown had a sweetheart neckline featuring crystal beading, pearls and rhinestones on the bodice. The dress was accented with hand-sewn sequins from her mother's wedding gown, a ribbon sash with beaded flower detail and a sweep train. She wore a fingertip sheer veil trimmed in lace. She carried a bouquet of wild flowers secured with a blue handkerchief. Maid of honor was Andria Bazilevich of North Olmsted, friend of the bride, and matron of honor was Tiffany Ruffing of Attica, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelly Elmlinger of San Antonio, Texas, sister of the bride; Kristen Battles of Fayetteville, North Carolina, sister of the bride; Ahvian Green and Dominique Battles, both of El Paso, Texas, and nieces of the bride; Megan Bauer of Dayton, sister of the groom; Krista Kahle of Chicago, sister of the groom; and Kelly Effner of Lakewood and Nicole Haas of Westlake, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids wore pastel shades of blush, lavender, gray and cream. They also carried bouquets of wild flowers. Jayden Kolehmainen, of San Antonio, Texas, niece of the bride, and Aaron Battles, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, nephew of the bride, were the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. Joe Littman of Cincinnati, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Scott Elmlinger of Prospect, brother of the bride; Andre Battles of Fayetteville, North Carolina, brother-in-law of the bride; Peyton Battles of El Paso, Texas, nephew of the bride; Billy Bauer of Dayton, brother-in-law of the groom; and Dave Sunderman of Macedonia, EJ Russell of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, Tom Miller of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, and Adam Kujawski of Victor, New York, friends of the groom. The groom wore black pants and vest, with a white long-sleeved, rolled up shirt. The groomsmen wore gray pants and vests with long-sleeved, rolled up shirts. All had boutonnieres of baby's breath. The bride, a 2008 graduate of Seneca East High School, also graduated in 2012 from Cleveland State University with a bachelor's degree in health sciences and in July with a doctor of chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. She is employed as adjunct faculty at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls and has a chiropractic practice, Kahle Chiropractic, in Rochester, New York. The groom graduated in 2009 from Solon High School and in 2016 from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, with a bachelor's degree in management. He is logistics coordinator at Howlett Farms Inc. in Avon, New York. Honoring the bride with a bridal shower were Tiffany Ruffing, Kelly Elmlinger and Kristen Battles in June. The rehearsal dinner featured a Mexican food truck with a fiesta theme at the home of the groom's parents. The couple resides in Canandaigua, New York, following a honeymoon trip to Devil's Lake and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
