Dorothy B. Manz

Dorothy B. Manz, 95, of Tiffin, died at 10:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at Elmwood at the Shawhan, Tiffin. She was born March 30, 1921, in Seneca County, to the late Leonard and Bessie (Grummel) Walton. She is survived by four children, Robert (Carolyn) Manz of rural Tiffin, Ronald (Peggy) Manz of Camano Island, Washington, Donna (John) Boyd and Duane (Billie) Manz, both of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Verl (Glenna) Walton of Tiffin and Dale (Marie) Walton of Findlay. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Delmar, Harold and Lowell Walton. Dorothy was a 1939 graduate of Melmore High School. She was employed for 29 years by Tiffin Public School system, and by the former Ebenezer (Faith) United Methodist Church, Tiffin, for 18 years, and was a member of the church. At Dorothy's request she wishes her funeral to be private. Burial will take place at Smithville Cemetery, Wyandot County.
