Lynn D. Harple

Lynn D. Harple, 79, of Tiffin, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at her residence. Lynn was born Feb. 21, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert B. Crawford and Dorothy (Gardner) Ivan. Survivors include her two sons, Don (Dana) Harple of Atlanta and Tom (Becky) Harple of Tiffin; five grandchildren; a brother, Robert Crawford of Australia; and two sisters, Claire Anderson of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Sharon Morton of Chicago. Lynn was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Y-Wives, enjoyed volunteering for Tiffin Historic Trust, playing bridge and bowling in her younger years. Lynn was preceded in death by parents and her stepfather, Tommy Ivan. A celebration of Lynn's life will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, 136 N. Washington St., Tiffin with the Rev. Katie Treadway officiating. There will no burial at this time. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
