Teen in critical condition

GREEN SPRINGS — A Clyde teenager involved in a crash at SR 19 and CR 34 two weeks ago remained in critical condition at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center Friday. Skylar M.J. Burroughs, 17, of Clyde, was in intensive care, a hospital spokeswoman said. The crash was Oct. 1. Burroughs and Emily B. Wagner, 16, of Clyde, were passengers in a vehicle driven by Tori L. Meggitt, 16, of Green Springs, according to a release from State Highway Patrol. Wagner was killed in the crash, and Meggitt was taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, the release states. It states Meggitt was driving a 2000 Dodge Stratus west on CR 34 and did not stop at a stop sign. The Dodge Stratus stuck a 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Jacob L. Lipstraw, 28, of Oak Habor, which had been southbound on SR 19. Lipstraw was taken to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the release states.
