Mildred A. (Hark) Prenzlin

Mildred Ann (Hark) Prenzlin, 87, of Hubert, North Carolina, and formerly of Fostoria, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Coastal Care Hospice Center in Newport, North Carolina, after a lengthly illness. She was born July 25, 1929, to the late Hazel Pearl (Taylor) and Clarence Jacob Hark. Surviving are her three daughters, Julie Ann Lewis of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Janette Marie (Chester) Crawford and Barbara Elaine Robinson, both of Hubert; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Earl Prenzlin; two brothers, Raymond Gilbert Hark and Daniel Richard Hark; two sisters, Ethel Marie Saxton and Marie Hark; and her son, William Earl Prenzlin. Her funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home, 407 Hammock Road, Swansboro, North Carolina. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, North Carolina.
