The Fruths | Advertiser-Tribune Larry and Carol Fruth of rural Fostoria are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, with an open house in the Seneca County 4-H Building at the fairgrounds. The couple was wed Aug. 14, 1966, at Metamora Methodist Church, Metamora, by the Rev. Edward Beck and the bride's uncle, Elder Harry Ries. Carol is daughter of the late Earl and Esther Cruzen. She is a homemaker and helps on the family farm. Larry is the son of the late Clara and Archie Fruth Sr. He is a retired farmer who still helps his sons.
