Albert L. 'Al' Barth

Albert L. “Al” Barth, 73, of Fostoria, died Saturday, July 23, 2016, at The Heritage of Waterville. He was born May 6, 1943, in Monroe, Michigan, the son of George and Lorena (Belfy) Barth. He married Ann Hoffman April 22, 1977, at Arcadia Methodist Church, Arcadia, and she survives. Surviving also are two daughters, Kimberly (Nick) Gerding of Glandorf, and Kathryn (Garrett) Day of Fostoria; a son, Brian (Kerri) (Barth) Buck of McComb; 11 grandchildren, a brother, Bronson (Judy) Barth of Lapeer, Michigan; and a sister, Barbara (Gerald) Borawski of Pickney, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George and Joseph Barth. Al was a U.S Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, July, 27, 2016, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria. His funeral will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Washington Township Cemetery, Arcadia. Memorial contributions may be made to Arcadia Methodist Church, or to The Parkinson’s Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
