Officer's weapon discharge investigated | Advertiser-Tribune Tiffin Police Department and Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections are investigating a discharge of a weapon handled by a parole officer for Ohio Adult Parole Authority Tuesday morning. Officers were summoned to Monroe Street Tuesday morning for an accidental weapon discharge, a police report states. The police department's incident report states Charles S. Boes, 40, told an officer he was getting ready for work. He put on his duty belt, picked up his handgun and "charged" the weapon, placing a round into the barrel.
