Carmelo 'Carl' Iannello

Carmelo “Carl” Iannello, 85, of Bellevue died Monday, June 13, 2016, at his home. He was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Sant’Agata di Militello, Sicily, to Joseph and Caroline (Proto) Iannello. Sept. 11, 1962, he married Angela (Naso), in Sant’Agata di Militello. He is survived by his wife; a son, Carl J. (Mary K.) Iannello of Bellevue; two daughters, Denise C. (James K.) Warren of Avon Lake and Lisa B. Thompson of Bellevue; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Anthony (Sarah) Iannello of Bellevue and Charlie Iannello of Bellevue; and a sister, Josephine Minor of Bellevue. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William (Mary) Iannello and Salvatore Iannello; two sisters, Rosalia Iannello and Caroline (Anthony) Maltese; and a brother-in-law, Philip Minor. Friends will be received 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow in Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
