Tiffin report Thomas A. Webb, 25, of Tiffin, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated Monday night. County reports A 12000-block West Axline Street woman reported Monday evening someone pried open her door, and things were thrown a strew in the home. A person near South SR 19 and East CR 6 reported Tuesday morning he had auction signs pulled out of the ground and thrown in ditches. Fostoria reports A 500-block East North Street woman reported Tuesday morning two dogs killed her cat. Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court personnel needed officers in the courtroom Tuesday afternoon for a person who was upset for getting jail time. A theft was reported in the 600 block of Walnut Street Tuesday afternoon. Tiffin accidents Phyllis M. Putnam, 86, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to yield after a stop sign after an accident on South Monroe Street Monday afternoon. A two-vehicle crash was reported at Madison and Washington streets Monday afternoon. A citation of assured clear distance ahead was issued after an accident on South Sandusky Street Tuesday morning. County accident An accident was reported on South Broadway Street Tuesday afternoon. Fire Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to an alarm system activation at 545 W. Market St. Monday evening. There was no fire, and it was unintentional. Fostoria accident A person reported Tuesday morning a semi struck a hydrant at Seneca Millwork, 300 Court Place. EMS Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had two squad runs Monday afternoon, one squad run Monday evening, one squad run Monday night, one squad run early Tuesday morning and two squad runs Tuesday evening. Clinton fire assisted Tuesday morning. Bascom EMS, Bettsville fire, Kansas fire and the Echo unit had a squad run Monday evening.
