Thomas L. Storey

Thomas Storey, 67, of Fostoria, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Cleveland Clinic. He was born June 9, 1948, in Fostoria to the late James E. and Wilma M. (Hammer) Storey Sr. He married Judy L. Barlekamp February 19, 1972, in Fostoria, and she survives in Fostoria. Survivors include two daughters, Amy Walters of Amherst and Teresa (Jeremy) Wilson of Findlay; two grandsons; one brother, James “Jim” (Torda) Storey of Toledo; and three sisters, Nancy (Harley) Wood of Birmingham, Michigan, Mary Ann (Dave) Culver of Findlay and Jane (Mike) Snyder of Jackson, California. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War era. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Rev. Todd Dominique officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Cemetery, where Fostoria United Veterans will provide military honors. Memorials may be made to the transplant department of the Cleveland Clinic in care of the funeral home.
