Suzanne L. Pelton

Suzanne L. Pelton, 76, of Risingsun, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green. She was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Bloomdale to the late Herman L. and Mildred E. (Brandeberry) Kreais. She married Richard Guy Pelton July 27, 1957, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and he died Feb. 25, 2003. Surviving are four children, Suzette Marie Pelton of Bowling Green, Rebecca Jane (David) Kline of Bowling Green, Jennifer Ann (Thomas E.) Gillig II of Risingsun and Richard Guy (Kelly) Pelton II of Fostoria; a granddaughter; and a sister, Laura Hossler of Fostoria. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Laura Pelton; a brother, Herman E. “Sonny” Kreais; and a sister, Jane Kleinfelter. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830, where a Franciscan memorial service will begin at 5 p.m. and a rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m.. Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where a rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Wendelin Catholic Church, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Bowling Green, Bridge Hospice or the Wood County Humane Society.
