Timothy John Reis

Timothy John Reis, 66, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at home. Tim was born Sept. 9, 1948, in Seneca County. He is survived by his mother, Loretta (Culver) Reis of Tiffin; his wife, Amor (Dizon) Reis of Tiffin; five children, Laura Anese of Stow, Joe (Kelie) Reis of Medina, Matthew (Denise Traunero) Reis of Gahanna, Christina (Ethan) Gary of Stow and Mariella Reis at home; four grandchildren, Michael and Melissa Anese and Andrew and Tyler Reis; a sister, Susan (Charles) Sherman; and a brother, Rodney (Char) Reis. He was preceded in death by his father, John Reis, and sister, Rita Reis. Tim graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1966 and attended Terra Technical College. He worked at Whirlpool Corp., Clyde, as an electrician. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus No. 608. Tim loved farming, hunting, watching football and old westerns. His Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at the activities center at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Friends may visit with the family 3-7 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424.
