Stephens-Borer | Advertiser-Tribune Amanda Stephens and Phillip Borer are announcing their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gary and Cathy Stephens of Findlay. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 2003 before earning a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 2007. She is self-employed as a graphic designer. The groom-to-be is the son of Tom and Kate Borer of Tiffin. He is a 2003 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and has an associate's degree from Columbus State. He works at Kwest Group as a restoration foreman.
