Nancy A. Pelton

Nancy A. Pelton, 75, of Fostoria, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at Good Shepherd Home. She was born May 19, 1939, in Fostoria, to Herman and Mable (Long) Warren. She married Daniel Pelton June 1, 1957, in Angola, Indiana. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Pelton of Fostoria; two daughters, Kim (David) Gons of Shelbyville, Indiana, and Kelly Smith of Fostoria; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathy Smith; and a sister, Jean Griffith. She retired in 2001 as a secretary for Hopewell-Loudon Schools, Bascom, with more than 25 years of service. She was a 1957 graduate of Fostoria High School and a member of Bascom United Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed shopping, going to the lake and to Florida in the winter. She especially loved being with her family; her kids and grandkids meant everything to her. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Cal Cook officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Knollcrest Cemetery in Arcadia.
