County reports • A 100-block East Tiffin Street woman reported Wednesday afternoon a man had stolen a pair of earbud headphones. • A person at East US 224 and South CR 17 reported occupants of a vehicle were throwing bags of beer cans and bottles out of their vehicle Wednesday evening. Fostoria reports • Brandon L. Navarro, 37, of Fostoria, was charged with driving under suspension, a Financial Responsibility Act suspension and an equipment violation Wednesday. • A person in the 100 block of West Tiffin Street reported a man on the street was holding a derogatory sign Wednesday evening. • An employee of Dollar General, 1515 N. Countyline St., reported Thursday morning a woman had shoplifted several items earlier Thursday morning. • A 1000-block 42nd Street woman reported Thursday afternoon blood was found on her storm door. County accident • A car vs. deer accident was reported at SR 18 and TR 138 Thursday morning. State Patrol • Henry K. Stein, 34, of Willard, was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence and a traffic lane violation Wednesday. Fostoria accident • A citation was issued after a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at West Tiffin and South Countyline streets Wednesday afternoon. Fire • NBS fire and EMS responded to a shed fire at 6798 S. US 23 Wednesday afternoon. EMS • Bascom EMS and fire and the Echo unit had a squad run Wednesday evening. • Republic EMS and fire and the Echo unit had a squad run early Thursday morning. • Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had one squad run Thursday morning and two squad runs Thursday afternoon.
