County reports • A woman at South SR 53 and West US 224 reported she jumped out of a vehicle after a man assaulted her and broke her glasses Saturday night. • A 12000-block East CR 6 resident reported finding an ankle monitor in their front yard Sunday afternoon. Fostoria reports • A 700-block Circle Drive woman reported Friday evening someone came onto her property and killed two pet rabbits. • A person at Columbus Avenue and South Town Street reported two men were fighting on the sidewalk early Saturday morning. • A 500-block Sandusky Street reported receiving a scam email Saturday morning. • A 600-block Maple Street man reported Saturday morning a theft of a motorbike. • A person in the 300 block of Caples Street reported a sexual assault Saturday afternoon. • A person in the 300 block of West High Street reported a man and woman were involved in a physical altercation Saturday afternoon. Tiffin accidents • A citation of failure to yield was issued after a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at Hall and North Monroe streets Friday afternoon. • A citation of improper left turn at a one-way intersection was issued after a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at East Perry and South Washington streets Saturday morning. County accidents • A one-vehicle accident was reported on South TR 97 Saturday night. • An injury accident was reported at TR 76 and CR 62 early Sunday morning. North Central EMS transported one person to The Bellevue Hospital from the scene. Old Fort Fire assisted at the scene. Fostoria accidents • A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported on North Countyline Street Friday evening. • A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported at West Lytle and South Countyline streets Saturday morning. • A citation of failure to control was issued after a car vs. fire hydrant accident at East North and Potter streets Saturday night. Fire • NBS fire and EMS responded to a large open burn near 10207 W. CR 10 Saturday night. It turned out be a controlled burn. • Bascom fire and EMS and the Echo unit responded to a general fire alarm at 8344 TR 112 Sunday morning. Cooking smoke was found to have caused the alarm. • Bascom fire responded to a call regarding an overwhelming smell of burning brush at 581 Angela Dr., Fostoria, Sunday afternoon. Clinton fire assisted once Sunday afternoon. • Bloomville EMS and fire and the Echo unit had a squad run early Sunday morning. • Bettsville EMS and Kansas fire had a squad run early Sunday morning. • North Central EMS and Green Springs fire had one squad run early Sunday morning and one squad run Sunday morning.
