David Narducci

David Narducci, 71, of Tiffin, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Promedica Toledo Hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1949, in Ashtabula, to Paul and Dora (Bruno) Narducci. On Feb. 14, 2008, he married Shirley (Heminger) Hull. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Narducci of Fort Seneca; brother, Larry (Aimee) Narducci of Ashtabula; three nephews, Brian, Matthew and Michael; three great-nephews, Anthony, Vincent and Holden; great-niece, Lauren; mother-in-law, Marilyn Heminger, stepson, Joe (Jacqueline) Hull; six stepgrandchildren, Bryce, Kyndal and Chandler Tinnell and Alexis, Riley and Brady Hull; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Mike) Lee and Kathy Myers; and brother-in-law, Jerry (Susan) Heminger. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul "Sonny" Narducci; stepson, Jimmy Hull; niece, Laura; and father-in-law, Gerald Heminger, Sr. David graduated, in 1967, from Harbor High School, received his Bachelor's of Education, in 1971, and his Master's degree in English from Kent State University in 1982. In 2017, he received a Certificate on Nutrition for Plant Based Eating from Cornell University. He first taught at Mother Cabrini in Conneaut, and retired from Fostoria High School. After retiring, he taught part-time at Tiffin University and Owen's Community College and was currently an adjunct professor at Terra State Community College. His students loved and respected him. David was Vice President of his High School class, was a member of National Honor Society, and enjoyed little league baseball, track and football. He had a passion for reading, enjoyed going to Tiffin-Seneca Public Library even though he had many books at home, was the kindest, most compassionate and gentle man anyone ever met. He taught his wife about life and how to trust again. He would do anything for anyone and loved his family and friends. David's favorite quote was from his friend, Joseph Puro, "It's always a great day, Just to have a great day." His graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2020, at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Seneca County, a local animal rescue of your choice or to Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.
