FIrst National Bank to expand Tiffin location

SYCAMORE — First National Bank of Sycamore has announce they are expanding their Tiffin loan office at 2353 W. Market St. into a full-service banking center on Tuesday, Sept. 1. The loan office has operated at that location since 2018 under the leadership of Jerry Weininger, a release from First National Bank of Sycamore states. With continual market growth in the loan sector, and many requests to offer retail products, such as deposit accounts, the next step was to expand this location to meet the demand, the release states. "We are so excited to be offering a full line of services from our Tiffin office," Dean Keller, president, said. "We have realized that the Tiffin market is needing a true community bank that values personal relationships and the needs of its customers. "As a locally owned and independent community bank, we are proud to have Jerry Weininger and Sarah Johnson representing our bank and serving our customers," Keller said. Weininger, who grew up in Sycamore, said he is "very happy to be back in a community banking environment where I have been assisting customers in Tiffin and the surrounding area since 1974." Sarah Johnson, who has 17 years of experience in the banking industry, was hired by the bank to bring the retail products to fruition, according to the release.
